Like all Albion baths, the Apollo freestanding bath tub is made from our unique Iso-Enamel material. Creating a bath that’s strong, solid and durable. Importantly, our material overcomes the drawbacks of cast iron. Iso-enamel feels like porcelain to the touch with none of the ‘stickiness’ associated with cheaper, acrylic baths.
Cast iron baths are beautiful to look at but are extremely heavy and rapidly lose the heat of the bathing water. With Iso Enamel, your bathing water will stay hotter for longer (see how here) – no more topping up with the hot tap. Our Iso-Enamel (freestanding baths and baths on feet) are also easy to clean. Simply use any modern, liquid cleaners even bleach.
Any colour you like.
The Apollo freestanding bath can be finished in any colour you like. Simply choose a paint colour (Histor, Flexa, Farrow & Ball etc.) and supply us with either the name or code. Or opt for one of our gold, iron or bronze burnished finishes or our new Polished Pewter with a mirror finish coating.
